Semi-automatic saws are similar to manual saws, but the saw head is programmed to automatically rise to the starting position after the cut is completed. The operator must then reposition the material to make another cut.
Step pulleys are driven by a belt system that is manually changed to achieve a specific speed. These pulleys commonly feature 3 to 4 fixed speeds.
